Imagine ESD’s continued trajectory with a substantially stronger endowment. Your investment in endowment will secure ESD’s Mission for generations to come.

With Lower School construction underway, our campaign focus shifts to the need for endowment. Through the generosity of community members, already 36 new endowed funds have been established as of June 30, 2018, we now have a total of endowed funds of 100.

Endowment Priorities for this campaign

Together, we will ensure sustainability: 

  • Raise $30.5M in total endowment, translating to an additional $1.2M in our annual operating budget
     
  • Grow endowment funding for faculty, increasing dedicated resources for support and compensation by $380K a year
     
  • Increase our endowment funding for tuition assistance by $9M, generating an additional $360K per year and removing financial barriers for qualified candidates
     
  • Invest $9M in sustaining and enhancing our distinctive programs
